About me
Hi, my name is Matt Harris and I provide manual driving lessons in the Ibstock, Hinkley and Loughborough areas of Leicestershire.

I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. My previous careers include serving in the British Army and working as an accountant.

I am fortunate to be training with LDC using the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. Something that is unique about learning to drive with LDC is that I am able to keep a track of your progress and can provide you with additional learning aids to get you to become a safe driver for life. We have a driving skills workbook and online training videos.

Our client centred learning approach puts you firmly in to the driving seat. Everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.

Please don’t worry if you have already have some driving experience, I will happily conduct an assessment lesson and we can work out a plan from there. Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking, visiting new places, travelling spending time with my dog Freya and cat Mika and gaming.
